Privacy Policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
The short version: we only collect what we need to review your application and run THE TOUR. We never sell your information.
Who we are
THE TOUR is run by Quarterback Magazine, LLC in San Diego, California ("we," "us"). This policy covers theqbmagtour.com. For quarterbackmagazine.com, see the Quarterback Magazine privacy policy. Questions: hello@quarterbackmagazine.com.
What we collect
- Athlete info from the application: name, graduation year, position, city and state, and optional Hudl, Instagram and X links.
- Parent or guardian info: names, phone number, email, whether a parent is coming, payment plan choice and how you heard about us.
- Payment info: the $50 application fee and tuition are paid through Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Basic site data: our web host may keep standard logs, like IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To review applications and contact families about THE TOUR.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To plan travel, rooms and camp registrations for accepted athletes.
- To send updates about THE TOUR. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help run the site: Netlify (website and form), Stripe (payments) and our email provider.
- College camps we attend, only what they need to register an accepted athlete.
- The Football Promise, only if you apply for the TOUR Scholarship.
- Anyone the law requires us to share it with.
Athletes under 18
Most TOUR athletes are high school students. A parent or guardian should fill out the application. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.
Photos and videos
We take photos and videos during THE TOUR and may share them on this site and on social media. If you don't want your athlete featured, email us and we will not use new photos and will remove existing ones where we can.
Cookies, videos and other sites
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Videos play from YouTube, and YouTube may set its own cookies once you press play. We also link to Instagram and other sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep application and payment records as long as we need them to run THE TOUR and meet tax and legal rules. After that, we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop emailing you. Email hello@quarterbackmagazine.com and we will reply within 30 days. California residents may have additional rights under California law.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
